Catch-Up

Thanks for the positive vibes! MP did great today and increased his score to a place he feels is competitive enough. Now comes the endless applications.....

We had a great weekend!
My friend Natasha helped host a bake/flower sale benefiting Japan along with her friend Diane.
She was inspired by her grandmother, who hopped on a plane the day after the earthquake to assist in relief efforts. It was such an amazing event and Natasha pulled everything together beautifully.
The event was held at Diane's flower shop, Ellermann.

We all pitched in...baked lots of goodies, helped man tables, and even attempted making paper cranes.

In addition to the baked goods, champagne, and flowers, there were activities for the kids and Japanese dancing.
 Aren't they just beautiful?

It was such an inspiring event and one I loved being a small part of.
The best news is that we raised over $5,000 USD for the Japan Volunteer Center, (Natasha's grandmother's charity).
That night we said goodbye to our friend John (with the cargo jorts and fanny pack) who's moving to Shanghai after over 5 years in Hong Kong.
 Tim found a twin....
It was funny to see so much color on one block in HK. I almost felt like I was back in the South with these two :)

Can you believe this? One of our party goers ordered 40 (yes, 40) jagerbombs. This was how they were set up.
 I couldn't resist taking a photo :)
Hope you had a great weekend too!
We're taking off for Easter on Thursday...more to come about our destination(s!)
GUESSES?!?!?
xx,
Lauren
