Phi Phi Islands

We're on DAY 8, and check out the view.
We boarded a speed boat with 9 other people, and were off to the Phi Phi Islands.
Our first stop was Maya Bay where Leonardo Dicaprio's movie, The Beach was filmed.

We were so excited to be there, we just had to JUMP!

Yes, we jumped too...
and then pretended we were mermaids.

Michael ate alot of pineapple.
and we continued to take loads of pictures.

We got back on the boat, and were off to our second stop...

Pileh Lagoon.
We did canon-balls off the boat.
And had a great swim. There was so much salt in the water, that you almost felt like you were wearing a life jacket. I was pretty amazed.
How beautiful?
We passed Viking Cave. The name comes from the paintings of ancient ships that are on the inside of the cave, but today, the famous "birds nest soup" comes from nests inside it.
Our next stop was Monkey Beach.
The monkey's weren't  timid to say the least, and would eat peanuts right out of your hand.
The picture below is where the tsunami hit Phuket. Everything you see has been re-built. Most people on land did not survive. It was pretty surreal to be in this spot.
We stopped to snorkel at Nui Bay and then had a delicious lunch at Loh Samah Bay.

We stopped at one other reef for a snorkel, and all slept on the hour boat ride back to the marina. We were pretty beat after this day.
We had dinner at Weaves, down the road, and did our best not to fall asleep :)

We couldn't have asked for a better day.
xx,
Lauren
