Saturday I hosted an "American" Baby shower for my two British friends, Hayley and Rachel.
Rachel is due in September, and Hayley in October.
Michael helped me the weekend before assemble these bad boys. I thought they turned out so cute!
We went to the Grand Hyatt for tea and had such a girly, fun afternoon.
No one had ever been to a baby shower before, so it was a day full of firsts.
We played 2 silly games, ate lots of yummy food, and opened some adorable pressies.
I hope they loved it.
It was so fun to honor these two mommies-to-be.

Lauren, looks like a great event. It was a first for the Brits but it must have been a "never heard of such a thing" by the folks at the Grand Hyatt!! How did you transport those big cakes to the hotel? You were some kind of host!! Great and sincere expression of friendship that they will take with them. Poppy.
