Not Again

Today is a holiday in HK....it's Buddhas's Birthday.
About 43% of the population practices some form of religion in Hong Kong, Buddhism having the greatest following.
On this day, many monasteries throughout the city will give their Buddha statues a bath. By bathing the statues, it symbolizes purifying your own soul.
The holiday wasn't celebrated offically in HK until the handover in 1999. The temples will be packed all day and today is not the day to go visit this guy.
Not sure how I'll be celebrating today, but it won't be by doing this.
Happy Birthday, Buddha!
xx,
Lauren
